Anyone tested multiplayer?

I'm considering buying the game, although I do not like to have yet another game launcher.

However, since I still own "Königsedition", I'm only interested in the multiplayer. I remember we got the unofficial multiplayer running manually. There were two main issues:

- Double click could crash the game (which I fixed with a script)
- Fires on buildings led to async gameplay between human players once the fire spread, where you'd see entirely different development of the game amongst each other. (early fire department prevented that to some extent)
- other random crashes that required saving at a 5 minutes interval

Can you confirm these ssues are fixed? How stable is the new multiplayer, and which multiplayer options are supported (LAN / Ubisoft Connect / other)?

Ubisoft connect works well. Easiest if you got a reliable game partner who has the game on ubi/steam aswell.

I would be able to play a game next week, am capable but never palyed multi.
