AI's functionality maybe.

Game's health... what? Why? What even defines that?
It has a good amount of resources and complexity is needed to be fun. Are you suggesting it be dumbed down? This is not a simple game and shouldn't be made into one.

If you want a simple space game, there was one called "Spaceward Ho!" from a while back. It was similar minus a lot of complexity, iirc. Try that and see if simple is really what you want. And don't try to simplify the complex game please.

Space Carthage?

But it still will be pretty racist as real Carthage was.

like the portraits, but would love a couple of ship sets please!

You'll have to pay $15 for each. This is Paradox.

While the trade mechanics sound really interesting, I really dislike the fact that *more* portraits are being added *before* the old ones are being revised. The art styles clash and it's pretty jarring to see the differences in-game; I'd rather the old portraits were brought up to spec with the new ones (since it doesn't seem like the old style will be used anymore) and I think a lot less people would complain if this came along with unique borg ascension variants for each (perhaps something similar could be done for psi ascensions as well? unless that's planned for some future dlc)
trade produced more like a normal resource? is this a nerf to permanent employment zombies?

Why paradox always make stupid changes?

If you have feedback on why you think the changes are "stupid", feel free to say. Politely.
Don't just insult and leave it at that, though. That doesn't help anything.

The changes are definitely not stupid. Whether they are bad is a matter of opinion but most people here seem to think they are not.

This is awesome! I love these changes to trade already, can't wait to get my hands on it!!
I'm not very hyped by the new trade system. Stockpiling "trade" makes absolutely no sense. And trade and logistic are different things (wtf you mean using trade for military ships). Don't use one for the other. But I like the idea of an upkeep for local deficits and having fleets inside enemy territory. Especially the later.
Fantastic. Genuinely blown away by this studio's willingness to put in this kind of work, unafraid to switch things up. This system will be far better. Combined with the pop rework, the performance improvement in trade will allow this game to be much larger. It's also about time that non-self sufficient planets had some associated cost, and this makes complete sense. Fleet logistics upkeep too. Cannot overstate how much this will improve an already great game.
