-Do we have organic civilian ships and titans/colossus ships?
-outside of megastructures, will an organic ship empire have use for alloys?

These are prettier than any Tyranid, though.
They did. They're called plantoids, and they suck.
As a side note, I do fear the power potential of bio-ships almost forcing people to choose them over regular ships every time. Maybe the balance for these bio-ships, at least, will be very long growth times even with all the speed upgrades? If there were a similar mechanical ship for machine empires, at least that could be a good potential competitor.
Anyhow, really looking forward to Stellaris 4.0 as someone who has been here since before the game released so many years ago.
I LOVE MEAT SHIPS
I mean, that is just a texture rather than something mechanically different, so they are no different than any other ship that currently exists (Apart from having fleets of space fauna, I should say). These new bio-ships seem to be a huge change to what Stellaris ships have been thus far. Maybe we could even get some cool new civics for plant-based species that offers them something unique regarding bio-ships.
If you look at the bio-ships, you will notice they require alloys to build and maintain still.
