Game is basically unplayable right now unless you are going to play 200-300 years with a single home world in a tiny universe. Well, I guess that's a play style, but not for me!
Edit:
The method is working, but sometimes automation doesn't start building immediately so in that case you need to wait. Sometimes the automation will build something else other than a city district at first, and you need to cancel that build (to save resource and time I guess) in hope that automation will build city district next. Do NOT build other types of district or you are cooked because that other district will occupy the place for city district and you will never be able to build city district ever again on that planet. Interestingly, some AI empires will do this, building generator or mineral district on the city district, and then they are cooked and they will never progress/develope and struggles with economy and rebellion.
Plus, the army landing is still not working so you don't have an effective way to end war until mid-late game. The AI empires are not very likely to surrender just due to orbital bombardment. I guess we can use `yesmen` LOL.
Yep, same issue. I colonized my first planet and it somehow ended up with 2 mining zones.
Back to the drawing board, PDX.
This is a VERY bad sign. IMHO if you wanted to do something this major you need to give it close to a year of attention (IN BETAS) and NOT push DLCs. Maybe 1 big one at the end of 2024 or early 2025. Every expansion needs updated, QOL features, ect. At this point just make Steallaris 2.
I really hope this is the last year of life for this game because its just insanity at this point. But hey, paradox. Ya know?
I am not a fan of the dlc policy paradox do, but this is a beta after all for us to test. Just be quiet
Edit: The second colony stabilized after it completed some construction. I'm thinking the planets aren't creating their initial city district, but if you turn on the automation, the automation will create the city district and, once it is built, the colony becomes usable.
Absolute legend. The temporary fix worked here.
