Steam's community I'd gather is a lot larger, a lot more diverse, and a lot more critical of changes, letting you see all four corners of the compass of what people think.
a) LESS obscure while giving the players
b) more options to play the game the way they want?
It's not easy, I guess, but some of the stuff introduced with this patch looks nearly more like a job creation scheme for the custodian team instead of solving a) and b).
The forums are also full of a bunch of people who only think there's one way to play. I know, I'm a part of them.
1. The value of happiness will affect the output of pops. Such as, when it is red, it reduces the output of jobs, when it is yellow, it has no effect, and when it is green, it increases the output of jobs. Ideas come from real-life situations. (Intentional slack at work and positive contribution)
2. Perhaps Capital Buildings of different levels can directly provide Administrative Capacity, which would be better than removed all means of increasing Administrative Capacity. I think this is suitable for empires with large colonies and varying numbers of populations on the colonies.
Less materialism for the technocracy is good though.
