Interdimensional portal event
I just found this on a planet, and upon researching it found it led to "a dimension of suffering" that is so incompatible with sapient life that minutes of exposure led to suicide or "mutilation of sensory organs".

I'm guessing this is a nod to the film Event Horizon?
Anyone else find this in their game? I've read that there are alternative dimensions as well.

You can keep doing the research but it uses 6CG, other than that nothing seemed to happen.

I believe I have seen 4 different outcomes of this event so far.
