Event chain: The Collided Planet

so i found an event on a planet i have never seen before, 2 planets colliding and sticking together. in that event i was given 3 choices, the first choice "we will stabilize the collision", the second choice "we will utilize the emissions" and the last choice is just to let the planet be destroyed in 50 years. since i didn't find anyone discussing the results of each choice has anyone here ever found the same event? i'm just curious what will happen in that choice since i played using iron mode

1. Stabilize: 5% chance to transform into Gaia, 95% chance to stay continental or change into savannah/alpine world.
2.harmonize 33% chance to transform into Gaia. 63% to remain but gain some blockers. 4% chance it explodes and you loose the planet but gain alot of research.
3. Do nothing, it explodes in 50 years.

I also have the collided planet and was wondering if you can turn it into a ecumenopolis?
since a size 50 forge world sounds awesome.
