Founder Species neural chips in Synaptic Lathe
As a regular organic empire how does putting your founder species in your synaptic Lathe work? As a gestalt machine I was able to put my own pops into the lathe, do you need to have authoritarian ethics to be able to put your own pops into the lathe? I'm currently a synth ascended bio empire with materialist and militarist ethics and my founder species don't get neural chip jobs when I resettle them into the synaptic lathe.

You use your FOUNDER species as Neural Chips!? *Gasps* I am shocked and Appalled! The Slave Market exists with a REASON you know!? You see those Neighbouring Empires, they've got excess pops! Just capture the planets and resettle them to the Lathe, it's not Difficult people!

Jokes aside: You can just resettle them manually if you aren't forbidding resettlement in your policies, any empire can do it (Egalitarians will be upset if you enable it, but you can do it), it counts as just another planet for that purpose.

Hey, I know it's been 2 weeks but if you chose a virtual government after ascending, your pops got the Virtual trait. But since Virtuality can create infinite pops, the devs decided to restrict Virtual pops from working in the Lathe. This also affects Synth empires with a virtual authority even though they don't get free pops. You can still assemble regular robots to refuel the Lathe though.
