horizon needle does not work

So I just got all my populations loaded up on the horizon needle and decided to enter the black hole via the center of the galaxy.
However, when I get there and click on dive in to the black hole the progress would reach 100% and than nothing happens
I tried other black holes as well and its all the same it won't let me end the game via cosmogenesis. This really pisses me off because I have been playing this single campaign on and off for about a week and I finally get here and I cant freaking end the game the way I wanted to

ps forgot to add a detail that I am virtual pop, does that have anything to do with this?

I did it has virtual too, so that isnt the issue. I had something a little similar when trying to embark my capital. It went to 100% and then nothing happened. I would suggest just waiting a month and trying again.

I figured it out. apparently I missed the part where I needed to calculate the jump or something and there was a project within my starting system that needed to be done with the horizon needle and it ended the game in my victory
