How to choose the ai opponents in a game setup?
Is there a way to choose the exact ai opponents in a match?

Wanted to use a mod pack with premade ai empires for a custom made experience with exactly only the ai players from the mod pack in the game

But I don't know how to choose the exact ai empires to go into the match

Is there a setting a mod or something to make this happen?

Thanks for the help

Edit the empires, create copies and save them. Next to those empires, you will find a button that allows you to force/allow/disable their spawn.

When you open the empire selection you should see an eagle in the bottom corner of the custom empire, you can select the options to prevent it from spawning, allowing it to spawning and forcing it to be present in the game.

Just select the "force" option for those empires you wish to be in game and hit start. Do mind that if you force 25 empires to spawn but only allow 10 in the game rules they won't be all present.

Thanks, this will be too much work, there are too many empires from the mods to do it this way

If there is another way, and easier way, that would be great.

It is surprising that there is nothing to choose the empires we want in a game

Never played a game like this that lacks that simple function

I'm somewhat confused.
You want a feature to create your enemy AI empires in a game on start up - creating it. Choosing civics, government and all those features you want to set.
And yet exactly doing this before making a game start up is too much work for you? When it's basically that what you want to do?
Ehm...
?

No I don't want to make the character and edit the character/empire for each opponent

I simply want to select the ones that will go into the game from the premade list

I have hundreds of them in the list. I just want to choose around 10 of the ones I want from that list only.

I don't want to have to go through the list of hundreds of empires and edit them all one by one just for one game.

Just want to choose the ones that will go into the game as they are, without having to go around editing hundreds of others

That would take forever to edit each one just for one game.

And then later if I wanted to run a random game, I'd have to edit hundreds of them all over again, that is just too much trouble for something that should be so easy like most games, you pick what you want and in you go.

Just want to select the ones I want as they are and take them into the match with me, that's all, currently the game randomly selects them from hundreds, so I do not get the ones I want.

Hope that helps to clarify

Then edit the 10 and set them to forced spawn?

Ok, will try that

Is it possible to set alliances and teams too?

No.

I don't see an option to set them to forced spawn when I edit them

Where is it?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
