Obsessional Directive: Are There Any Added Benefits in the Long Term?
Giving it a try. Fulfilling the quotas set by OD leads to a bunch of underwhelming rewards that imo are far less in value than the consumer goods they eat up.

I'm hoping that something will happen later on, that some long-term reward will pop up for regularly fulfilling the consumer goods quotas. Is this applicable or will the rewards continue to be meh up until the game ends?

On wiki there is say that in first option, when you can choose unity reward, they are converted to 1/3 (consumers goods/unity). The others rewards are Energy, science (I ALWAYS get social science which dont help me that much), Point for victory and one more, but I don't remember. The reward are sadly not that powerful and I stay most on unity, because others was not good ( Energy was a funny one), also you need have more storege to keep production (but I don't try to produce after I reach the limit)
