Do you always get the Tiyanki home system from the origin though, or did you just luck out with RNG?
The origin description just says "Home World: Tiyanki in a neighbouring system". I thought that just meant a tiyanki fleet would be nearby so you don't spawn somewhere where there aren't any.
Does anyone know if the origin is always next to the Tiyanki home system or could just be a random tiyanki fleet spawn (or the tiyanki graveyard system)?
Horrendous food upkeep, easily kited as soon as opponents have combat computers and destroyers/missiles, get wrecked by laser/plasma which even the AI is very fond of building.
The origin is fun but not a reliable OP set up. A few aggressive military focused neighbours will take apart disjointed seeded planets. I cant see this origin being a walk in the park on higher difficulties or with genocidal neighbour spawns.
No you do not. You have a pod of Tiyanki in a neighboring system when you start to get the whole seeding thing started, but there is no guarantee that you are close to their home system.
No it doesn't. It just says that there will be Tiyanki in a neighboring system to YOUR home system, nothing about their home being there.
Look at Prosperous Unification, it uses the same kind of formatting to explain what's added to your homeworld.
