What's the most powerful, synergistic Inward Perfection build? Thanks

I imagine some form of unity and virtuality rush
for wide i'd suggest go cybernetic ascension for −15% Empire size from pops
so you can get -100% empire size from pops with all stacked bonuses
or you can go psionic ascension, so you can drop that civic becoming divine sovereign, cause it is less useful midgame

Unless something changed, I don't think you can drop inward perfection

i would tell you but i dont talk to private accounts
Inward Perfection is a convoluted way to not play this game :)

Origin Overload, later add Cybernetic. Now you got 3 auto-mod traits.

Authoritarian and Dictatorship, start with Philosopher King and Charismatic traits.
This way you can pay for "Damn the Consequences".

State Building for opener tradition for its XP boost, then Harmony and Domination to pay longer for "Damn the Consequences".

If you ascend psionically, and complete the route of endowing a single leader with vast psionic energy to become a Chosen One before making them your emperor, then all civics which are inactive due to their conditions not being met are removed - including Inward Perfection, Fanatic Purifiers etc.

iirc you can do same thing with Fear of the Dark origin, when it makes you Fanatic Purifier during events, adding free civic

Inward perfection is the worst way to play and enjoy stellaris.

Civ being inactive != dropping that civ. it's still taking up a civic slot meaning you aren't benefiting from that slot.

ps: you don't need to do all that. if you have (fanatic?)authoritarian as an ethic you can just reform your government and change the authority to imperial.

inward + agrarian ideal used to be one of the stronger unity rush builds

becoming DIvine Sovereign from psionic ascension and Fanatic Purifier from FotD origin allow you to drop any civics that can't be dropped after start of the game(drop not disable)

don't need to do what? if you are talking about becoming psionic Divine Sovereign, it's not reforming - it's event replacing your current ethics

just curious, how does Agrarian Idyll help with unity? and when was it a viable build? i've started playing after patch 3.0, and never heard of Agrarian Idyll as a good option

Per the wiki:

"Divine Sovereign:

If a leader gains a Chosen leader trait, within approximately 10 years, an event triggers with the option to reform the empire. The event cannot trigger for empires that have Corporate Corporate authority, and if the empire has Imperial Imperial authority, the leader must be either the current ruler or the heir. Accepting reforms the empire with the following effects:
Ethics shift to Fanatic Authoritarian & Spiritualist
Authority changes to Imperial
Empire gains the Divine Sovereign civic
Invalid civics are removed
The leader with the trait becomes the new ruler if not already, and the previous ruler is exiled."

I have done this playing both as inward perfection & as fanatic purifier. Half of the guides and videos you'll find online about inward perfection will advise the use of this strategy.

Might've been Unity instead of Amenities from Farmers on release, which would dovetail nicely with Inward Perfection's +50% Unity From Jobs.
