Bought Starter Edition and did not get Galaxy Content? It woln't download.

So i bought the starter pack and it was supposed to have the Galaxy edition content but it is no where at all in the DLC folder. Steam says i have it, but I don't. How do i get it since it says I already have it, but it won't download it?

Galaxy edition is just a few wallpapers and forum avatars. You do get one unique species from it. just check for that species as that's ALL galaxy edition adds to your game is just the species. Nova edition which i don't think they sell anymore was pretty much the same way.

The steam page for the galaxy content states more than wallpapers etc to the point it's almost false advertisement, especially considering none of it actually seems to be available.

It wont be appearing in the DLC folders, check other folders inside Stellaris game folders for the extras,
If it appears in STEAM Stellaris DLC library then it has downloaded the content.

Apart from the one in-game species portrait, everything in the Galaxy Edition is 100% out-of-game content.

When you click into 'Manage DLC' in the library view it does indeed show in there but doesn't indicate it's installed anything when installed (ie no used disc space shows up)

In the game launcher it doesn't show up in the DLC section if it should.

Browsing local files (including DLC folder) nothing seems to be 'signposted' as the relevant extra content.

In the grand scheme of things it seems trivial to be getting up tight for something that will only be looked at a couple of times but there is a feeling that something is being sold that is no longer available.

Just a follow up on this, opened a ticket on Paradox's support centre, they got it all sorted out.
