Star Eater Question
Has anyone found out how to use the star eater for Crisis? I cant use it on any star?

Same here. Crack Star option is permanently greyed out on both Star Eaters i have.

You need to get your Menace to level 5. Then you'll get 2 Star Eaters, knowledge to build more (They need ~7500 Dark Matter to construct, so beware) and the End-game megastructure built around your homeworld's star

In the Traditions & Relics menu. There'll be a 3rd Tab next to the Relics called "Crisis"

Ok i found out what is Wrong with the Star Eaters you can only eat stars from the enemy not your own, AAAND you take over automaticly a Sektor when you attack it so you cant destroy the star

Ahhhh gotcha, yea ive got three star eaters and have not used one.

Weird considering that the Devs went out of their way to say that you could use it on your own stars in the release Stream and it was also used on the empires own stars in the cold war thingy they released.

I literally just won a game using Star Eaters. You can definitely use them on your own stars, the only restriction seems to be that you have to be at war with someone to crack their stars.

hmm i could not, that is Crazy, and i was at war, when you are at lvl 5 all wants to kill you

Yep, lvl 5 menace, at war with another empire and "Crack Star" option is still greyed out... No idea why it doesn't work
