Can't find any brown dwarfs at all (gigastructures)

energy production was running a bit low so i wanted to build a substellar compressor site, but for some reason i cannot find a single brown dwarf to build it around.

The matter compressor can only be built around a black hole, not a brown dwarf. The dyson sphere is what produces energy, but it needs a star. (I'm playing 3.7.4., so perhaps there is a "substellar compressor" in a later version or mod I'm unfamiliar with.) I remember when I was first trying to figure out the matter decompressor - why couldn't I build it just plain ol' anywhere? It took me ages to figure out I needed a black hole!

Not sure if this will help, but Brown Dwarfs can only appear in a Binary or Trinary star system as the secondary/tertiary celestial body; apart from one or two unique systems as the exception (such as the Stellarite Devourer's home system before you kill it, I think?), vanilla system generation never has a Brown Dwarf as the primary celestial body.
