40K Builds?
What would The Imperium of Man's build be in Stellaris (including it's race traits). What would the builds of other 40K empires be? Thanks in advance

Xenophobe/Militarist/Authoritarian.

I would say Xenophobe/Spiritual/Authoritarian, but I do think that the Imperium would qualify as a fanatical purifier. They don't have any alien slaves living under their rule. They don't make economic or research agreements or migration treaties with other races. They deal with aliens by killing them.

but to be a FP you need to be fanatical xenophobe, so you can't be Xenophobe/Spiritual/Authoritarian. Definitely want spiritual for the priest/no-AI and such, but want Authoritarian for stratified living conditions which would definitely apply to humans living in the Imperium.

Yeah, but also no. AI is a big no-no - Imperium was nuked into stone age way way before the 40k by a machine uprising iirc.

I see Imperium as:
Fanatic Xenophobe, Spiritualist. Fanatic Purifier, Byzantine Bureaucracy? (or Exalted Priesthood, it depends on what Lords of Terra mean to you). Remnants origin (maybe your Imperium was just nuked into nothing). Oh, it's also definetely Imperial, which segways nicely into Feudal Society when you get the tech for 3rd civic.

Or you could embrace the Auth and forget the Purifier bonuses.
Xenophobe, Spiritualist, Authoritarian. Imperial Cult and maybe Aristrocatic Elite (Lords of Terra again). Also Remnants, also Feudal Society when the tech allows. Now you have everyone under stratified economy, and you can still genocide all xenos due to Xenophobe.

Oh, I almost forgot. Imperium would definetely go for genetic ascension. Gene Seed Purification is basically Space Marines. Also Self-modified subspecies would be almost like allowed mutations - you just settle everywhere and your people adapt. With Evolutionary Mastery you could specialize these even further.

The problem with recreating the Imperium of Man is that you want both Fanatic Purifiers and Imperial Cult but can't get both of them, at the same time you can't really represent the Adeptus Mechanicus within the Imperium and if you did then you would need to make a separate empire and that would get messy.

At least you can represent the Tau (and maybe the Eldar?) that's the only thing that matters since it's somewhat verifiable (militarist/xenophile/authoritarian).

They might be fanatic xenophobe, but they're not purifier. The Imperium has diplomatic relations with other races.

Disclaimer: I know very little about 40K.

What about that new civic that makes it so diplomacy is only considered if you're the one proposing it?
You can't really represent it perfectly, but the best representation would probably be a Federation between a few empires with a lot of vassals. Or, well, as a Galactic Imperium... with Pax Galactica very much repealed, along with a whole bunch of other resolutions either not passed or repealed over the last 10k years since the Emperor and his Custodes faction went from Awakened Empire back to Sleeping.
Of course, a lot of those smaller member empires also can't really be perfectly represented, and need mods to get them right. Hell, there's at least one mod that does exactly that, the tech cult one giving some materialist features to spiritualist is so AdMech they're in the screenshots.

I wouldn't go with fanatic purifiers imo, because the imperium is willing to tolerate aliens as long as they're not an imminent threat. like in all the times they've reluctantly ignored or even allied with the eldar/tau.
The Imperium itself definitely isn't Purifier, they have protectorates and Sanctioned Xenos and what-have-you, but it's definitely got a "push towards Xenophobe Ethic" pop modifier, and a lot of the constituent empires probably would be Purifiers (looking at you, Black Templars).

Nah, that's the Eldar.
