... continuing to put so much effort into the game and giving constant free updates and improvements to the game."
Well said. Paradox is the Best.
It is not.
They were really good at expending their games a few years ago, but somewhere in the last 2-3 years they lost their way and are now releasing stuff that the community in general doesn't enjoy.
Fanboi's who like everything because they have tied their ego to the games perceived success are the most likely to leave reviews.
It's why there were a flood of positive reviews withing 15 minutes of launch.
I'll try to word this nicely but there are two types of gamers:
1) those that are bitter at EVERYTHING in life; so, ignore the "reviews"
2) adults that are objective and seek out the good ... and guess what ... there is a
LOT of good in this new DLC.
I am having more fun than CK III, Hearts of Iron IV and City: Skylines COMBINED and that needs to be put in context as I love all three of those games; it's just that Stellaris is now in a class of its own. This is a superb improvement to a previously outstanding game. This new 3.8 has taken my enjoyment to a level I did not think was possible. I REALLY like what I am discovering in this new update.
The new traits system, leaders, cap to leaders, everything is outstanding.
they added in an notifcation manager and autopause menu
they did a hotfix to fix the biggest issues instead of waiting a week
varous good QoL changes with armies/fleets and reversal of bad decisions with sectors.
it's somehow cheaper instead of just being same/higher price but with less stuff
even the way they redid leaders doesn't seem to have any obvious missed opportunities at first glance. yeah the gestalts are a bit underwhelming but the system itself seems good.
like it's just seems to all be good this time around so good job paradox, but it's so unexpected kinda still half wondering if there's gonna be a nasty surprise or catch when i actually play, which i might even have to do sooner rather than waiting a week for fixes.
What a sad state of affairs.
"The need to force a roll-back!"
Literally saw someone type this, lol. What hubris.
Love the DLC and glad Stellaris is going in this great direction. The game hasn't been better.
