Non-stop Pinging on Galactic Map
Okay this pinging is getting unhealthy. On the galactic map there are green pings for completing system surveys and they will not stop pinging for at least 5 minutes.
Please fix soon, it hurts my eyes.
If there are ways to shut it off til fixed please post, I am begging y'all. :diplomacy:

Disable all notifications that cause it

For me they disappear after about 10 to 20 seconds.

Hey Boe Jiden,..
WHERE can we change the notification settings?
Only way to get rid of all those green circles was to end and restart the game .--.

Yeah they do disappear now after a shorter time. Still longer than I'd like but at least seems to be fixed now somewhat.

What I hove found out is if they do not stop pining I pause the game and go into the map for the pinging star system. If you see something pinging in the star system (a ship, fleet or station) then click on it. If it is a fleet click on the tag not the individual ships. If nothing is pinging when you get into the star system click on the star(s). Go back to galaxy view and unpause. It it will usually ping a couple of more times but then, for me at least, it stops. I think there has been one time when I had to go back in and do it again but that is the only time and I may not have clicked on the star precisely enough the first time I did so.

I think it's a planned feature. It shows where all of the events mentioned in recent notifications took place. They might have implemented this to avoid the situation where you accidentally right click a pop-up window without reading what it says.

Seems like because I right-click the popup window away it keeps pinging non stop til either time lapses or something else comes up.
Only need to ping 3 times or less... not 3 minutes or more.

I get this too, actually clearing the notifications is what seems to cause it
Clearing a whole list, it's like green fireworks all over the galaxy. Pretty sure a bug and not a planned feature. I'd check to see if they know about this at paradox
They're not accepting new members last I checked
Only happens sometimes and only fixes if I quit out

@DHLF in notification settings menu lol (but actually you still need to reload game after it)

During my recent playthrough I found out if I don't right-click dismiss the messages and leave them hanging in the top corner after read they eventually go away without constant pinging.
So this bug must be due to the right-click dismissing the messages somehow.
