Imaging thinking the combat rework has more to learn than 2.2...
The government system where you just decide which laws (same as the unity edicts here) are applied every now and then.
The only difference with the ground combat is that you can dictate the distribution of aerial, ground and armored forces.
anyways take a break from the game, come back in a patch or two and you'll prolly be fine again.
a) how many people play this game
b) whether you enjoy this game
If you ask me, I don't care about the superficial number of players. I enjoy building and ruining empires in Stellaris all the same, even if I was the last Stellaris player in the world.
I have just come back from a break. I had a break for a couple of months.
Came back after the minor species rework. Played for about 7 hours then thought "Nah im not ready for this"
Returned to break... Come back and its even worse than when i left again... No. "A break" will not fix how i feel at owning a completely different game that i cannot even think of 1 thing that hasnt been changed for no reason in the space of a few months.
I love "having a break" and the last 900 hours of me learning the game become completely irrelevant.
Now i just wish i could still enjoy the game....
But of course "Just go back to an earlier version!" Ahhh yes i love missing out on the 1 or 2 good things about a patch because i didnt want to put up with the 9 or 10 bad things...
(Looking at you aquatics and NOT GIVING LIVING METAL TECH WITH THE CONFIRMED DEPOSITS)
then roll back to a version you liked.
or just move on. 900 hours is money well spend. be glad for the experience and don't look back.
probably what i should do honestly, not really feeling this latest patch either even tho on paper it sounds great.
Oh yeah you know-
An entire rework of how leaders work.
Completely changing how ship size, weapon type, speed, and slots work.
Nooonononononno nothing game changing at all....
Just... Ignore the fact the worst weapon in game is now the best? Annnnnnd i cant even figure out why?? (and nobody else i speak too can tell me ether)
Please see about 2 comments up for what i think about "Rolling back"
Specifically how every roll back has issues that the next patch fixed... While breaking at least 1 other thing.
Case in point aquatics. Great update. Would play it forever.... Now if only living metal tech was confirmed because hahaaaa no tech unless you're blessed by RNGsus
oh i'm 100% in agreement that rolling back isn't a viable solution for 99% of people. (you can fix things like no living metal with the console though if that's your primary hiccup.)
most people just quit. nothing wrong with that. just try to look back on your time with the game positively, instead of being upset on how it ended.
if you want more leaders limit pick xenophile(its buffed now cause last time was gargabe) and you can pick tradition to get more in limit
dont buy dlc then, game is alive cause they make updates to it, i buy every dlc and enjoy changes
read what balance mean, oh no my op ♥♥♥♥ get nerfed so i will rage insted adaptive xD
sprry for me your iq is so liw :)
