Can't do the "stay on target" achievement

Hello everyone,
I've tried to do "stay of target" since some days but still cant to achieve it. I must have read everything there is on the subject and tutorials.

In my situation, i'm in war with a spiritual fallen empire and two of his colossus tried to crack my world with my fleet ready to jump just next to them, it's just perfect to me. The problem is that each time i'll jump and start to attacking them (it only takes 3 secondes) they immediatly stop firing the planet and try to flee away.
I've read and saw in a video that previously, the colossus were still firing at the planet while they're doing some circles but not anymore or just for me.

If someone have an idea it will be really appreciated.

I looked at the guide and it definitely says that the Colossus has a good chance to flee with an emergency FTL jump. The author advises to take at least one Titan which has the FTL offensive aura on. This would double the time it takes for the enemy to do an emergency FTL jump. You should also make a backup of your save file in case something goes wrong, so you can try again without starting a new game.

I'll try the FTL offensive aura, but the problem is the same. I already kill the colossus a few time but they immediatly stop to firing the planet so i don't have the achievement.

I had this half idea park to have a FE/AFE War a other empire, follow where colossus is going with a Massive fleet, and War the FE/AFE while its firing, to instantly gib it.

I dont know if it will change anything, between the moment i launch the attack and i destroy them there is two second. I kill them almost instantly but they just cut off the beam before death.

I think 0.1% would be closer to the truth, the rest probably unlocked it with the Steam achievement manager. Until the last update, Stay on target was one of the last 3 achievements that I couldn't get either (second is to take Galatron from another civilization and invade pre-ftl Earth during the World war II).

I get to within like 5 of 100% then a new dlc comes out lol

but yeah stay on target and galatron some of ones i need too
