Which one is much better on giving bonuses to leaders and population?

I think 20% research is superior.

Ruler jobs:

Erudite:
+5% research speed
Psionic
+10% Governing ethics attraction
Monthly influence +0,5

I love influence, and I always need more, but influence has been changed, and research is everything. So Ill say Erudite leader is best.

Governor

Erudite, plus 5% research from jobs

Psionic
+5 Stability
+10% Unity from Jobs

Love research, but 5 stabilty equals 3% more resources from all jobs, and 3% extra trade. And 10% unity on top of that, so Ill prefere psionic governors.

Scientists
Erudite + 5% research speed

Psionic +10 research speed
(and another 10% for psionic research)

Easy.

Admirals
Erudite +5% fire rate and plus 10% disengagement chance

Psionic:
+10% Damage
+15% Evasion

Absolutely superior choise. And this might be the most important leader you have.

I havent done the chosen one here.

So for science:
Erudite gives total science: +20% increased from jobs and plus 10% speed
Psionic gives plus 13% science from jobs (unless at 100 stabillity) and plus 10% speed.
So erudite is 7% more research from jobs, and thats alot.

For war, psionic is amazing, not to mention the best shield, jump drives and combat computer. Pluss random bonuses (or negatives) that are huge.
(Of course they cost more to build, so....)

Sadly though very random :)

Play what you wanna play, they are both good.
(I play mostly psionic though.)

Personally I like Erudite more for the fleet Admiral bonus and the other traits that are also available when you can get it but Psionic does come with the bonuses and negatives the shroud can bring ontop of its leader bonuses and WAY more rp if your into that

Personally bio ascension is really only good if you have multiple species or subspecies as what you want to do is specialize them for certain jobs, like you can nerve staple some and give them nothing but bonuses to basic resources and keep them in the worker class, and have another group be your specialists and another for leader productions, ect ect. Although for lithoids its not as good as it can be as you cant use any of the perks that give faster pop production, but the rest are still there

Other important factors are:
Psi corps gives you 5 more stability and 10% resources from jobs.
Gene mod gives you 100% habitability if you put in the work

Psionic is vastly superior in endgame from my personnal experience, but it takes time to get there.

Research is good early, cute in midgame, but i would rather have more energy that i can spend on other resources than having a research bonus for the late game.

Having a ton of surplus energy credits doesn't contribute to your endgame Victory score, whereas research does.

I wasn't considering the victory score, good point.

I'd go with jump drives, easy friends and cheap edicts.
If you start out with imperial Cult > just unlock Discovery : you will have all opener edicts running at the start, including Map the Stars.
