Empire Creation

So I've already Verified files and reinstalled the game. But every time i create/ edit an empire, it doesn't save. I have no mods installed at all.

This all started happening after the new update. Maybe no one else has noticed since they've probably just edited their old empires and instantly played the game.

Can't say I'm having this issue. I've created 6-10 new empires and they all saved properly.

havnt had that issue yet, Could nuke every file even ur appdata and document files for the game so it makes new ones, might of gotten a corrupted one. vereifying i think only checks for game files itself?

In addition to the Appdata comment, make sure your main harddrive isnt failing right now.

I have also no issue`s with any save. Perhaps run it in admin mode or turn off map control from windows.

I had this error too after an update of my antivirus software. It suddenly has a new feature that prevents apps from changing files in certain locations. After white listing Stellaris in the antivirus tool I could create and save new emipres without problem again.

Uninstalled and deleted that whole Stellaris file. Re downloaded everything and it seems like it's working now. *fingers crossed* Thank you!

So far the solution j.yellow28 gave seems to be working. I'll try the whitelisting if it happens again.
