How can I leave and fight the Imperium?

I was forced into the Imperium against my will.
They voted to build an Imperium I voted against but still ended up being part of it.

It's obvious that the Imprium / Impreium Core race/leader is corrupt and has to be fought but there seems to be no way I can do that.

Undermining the authority didn't work sinc ethe others simple put more ambassadors to the plus side.

We are still before the pan galactic vote.

The Imperior declared me a rival and so I returned this favor but I can not start a war aginst him and he is not starting one.

Also he is not kicking me out and the leave button doens't allow me to leave.

My spionage skills are low already tried so even if I could get the authority down I doubt I can start a rebellion when it involves a successful spionage action.

The unbidden already happened ... steam rolled them easily. Seems they made a change before I couldn't fight them before analysing the rubbel and build new weapons now it seems the classic just do fine.

The real end game seems to fight the imperium... but how can I do that?`

You cannot just leave an empire, this is by design i believe

you could try creating diplomatic incidents for the emperor, i have no idea if it works but maybe that will stop them from supporting the empire with all those diplomats? to be honest i dont usually join the galactic community (im not that social) so i dont usually have these problems, the galactic community transforms into the imperium, stay out of the community and you dont get dragged into any imperium.

Well I am not sure if this design choose is a mistake.
If you think about it .. I wasn't even in a Federation..

There should be a leave option which of course makes the whole federation at war with you in the same instant but it should be there. Or at least it should be when the Imperium becomes formed.

Anyway still couldn't find a way out however I found that they had a defence pack with another member and I decleraed war on that other member which made the Imperator Core dragged into too.

I could create havoc for a good time untill the Pan Galactic passed.. I couldn't even fail it despite haveing 4 or 5 races 10 favocrs including the Impreium core .. so it ended there.

Well at least it became interesting because the woken empire declared war on the Imperium. Was forced to fight but then The Core Imperium had a NEX Machine rising thing which started eating up the Core Imperium.

So that was quite a nice war despite beeing in the Impreium by force.

Now the awoken is dead well I had to take care off the AI / Imperium is just bad.

Now it's NEX and the Imperium and Me. Still 3 parties with own interest but still I have no option out of the Imperium.

Funny the Imperium is no match for me and I could obliterate them easy but I am forced to fight with them.. something doesn't add up at all here.

And I can't take it over diplomatic since the weak Imperium Core has still double my diplomatic core and there is another one with more than me.

It is/was an interesting forced gameplay but is also really bad to be unable to do what you would sane do if game mechanics didn't bind ones hand.

Hope they thing this over. It can't be that we have to avoid the galactic community only to be completly immobilised and forced later with no freedom to turn against everyone if it has to be. That option should always exist.
