Report a translation problem
Either way you can either fix it yourself in the file I mentioned, or report it as a bug (here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/stellaris-bug-reports.941/ ) and hope the devs fix it soon.
Paradox seems to have really messed up these ship colours and it seems matching the RGB's doesn't actually fix it. have to wait for a patch, if paradox can even manage that...
My lovely golden-yellow empire is now a hideous way-too-green computer 100% yellow. If I pick a different color of yellow, or yellow-orange, it's EXACTLY the same hideous yellow in game.
The odd thing is that it shows the colors correctly in the ship appearance screen. They're just all wrong in the game itself. (Not very useful.)
Surely this is a bug, because at the moment the update has given us a new interface where we can pick dozens and dozens more colors than we had before, but in the actual game (where it matters) there's only like, FIVE or so unique colors now. Way more variety the way it was before.
PS: I really hate that horrible color computers always make pure 100% yellow. It's hideous.
Or at least, I still have this problem, not sure if its been fixed already for others.
This remains the only discussion or thread I've found mentioning this bug.
