What is a good hive mind build at the moment?
Haven't played in a few months. Recommend me a build please, wide or tall doesn't matter but I do prefer wide builds.

Cyborg overtuned is always fun and especially as a hivemind since your dudes start a bit younger and live a bit younger so you can do the cyborg ascension before people start dying of "old" age. Minimal species micromanagement when you have 3x different autotune traits. Excellent start (in a bot game) when you damn the consequences with the popgrowth+budget erudite and autotune/budget intelligent. How I start the species is by having autotune and the erudite trait and immediately start assembling a new species that adds the popgrowth boost to it. Don't colonize new planets until you've assembled one guy of this new species and preferably also turn on migration controls for the original species.
Cyborg authority for hivemind can make your size effect have even less impact than normal hivemind does so its a good way of starting tall, go wide when you are ready

depends what kind of experience you are looking for..
want a challenge? devouring swarm with necrophage origin, you would have very very limited reproduction unless eating other species. role play wise you could almost make the Xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise.

if you want something completely different (if you haven't done it before) the fruitful partnership origin is quite unique (can't be devouring unfortunately, and have to be plantoid or fungoid) and make friends with the space fauna so they spread your seeds, to colonize new worlds and attack enemy worlds or boost your existing ones....
but i'm wondering how the next pack is going to effect this origin.. sounds like we will have a lot more to do with the space fauna, and two new types (tho they might not be so helpful)

the current ones, at least tiyanki and amoeba can go through wormholes immediately, so makes it interesting if you up the number of wormholes on game setup. you can have a very spread out empire, which is both good and bad if you have to defend it early.
i would wait for the grand archive pack, or at least more details though, it is due in 9 days.
