Dyson Swarm Bug

Hey, anyone else getting this bug? I build a Dyson Swarm on a star, then the energy credit deposit increases as normal, but is no longer harvestable. It becomes white like I need to build a mining station on it and hovering over build mining station with a construction ship, the option is red crossed with the tool tip "An orbital station is already orbiting this planet"

But other than the dyson swarm, which is supposed to be there or whats the point? there is nothing else in the system other the outpost.

Can anyone help with this?

some people say that even that number is white, it still harvested by the dyson swarm, but i havent't tested myself
you can though: save game, remember how much energy you get from stations(hover mouse over your energy at the top-left of your screen), deconstruct dyson swarm(there is a small button for that if you select it), and check againg after deconstruction process will be finished(don't build any bases during that process)
load saved game

personally i read about that bug without meeting it, so i always make sure that i've build minings/research station before i start building dyson swarm

I can confirm the energy credits are NOT being collected. Furthermore it dosn't matter if there is a mining station there or not when I start construction of the dyson swarm, once construction is complete the mining station ceases to exist, and I am unable to build a new one because the of the bug.

I have read that using a console command shows the sun as a tag attached to it or something, to make it unable to have a mining station, due to the bug. And using a command you can force it to delete the tag. I tried that, followed it word for word, and even that made no difference. So I am at a loss what to do now.

YES! this too has happened to me, exact same bug, but for some science deposit. I have 9 physics science on a planet I cannot harvest for this same bug.

If the number is white, maybe try this:
Disband the station and rebuilt.
The number is white mostly due to wrong station is built on it due to a change in deposit cause by cosmic storm or others anomalies. The research station you built before the change cant harvest the energy deposit. So you need to disband the station and rebuilt a mining station on it. Same goes to mining station cant harvest research deposit.
At least this is how i manage the get those deposit and found out about this problem

Yes that might work on a deposit that due to an event gained a new different deposit, but we are talking about the sun and a single energy deposit, not a combined energy/science deposit. I have tried dismantling the Dyson swarm, and rebuilding it with and without the mining station, no matter what once the swarm is built I am unable to ever mine the energy deposit due to "An orbital station is already orbiting this planet" its becoming very frustrating. Happening in multiple new games I try, not entirely sure whats going on to trigger it, so I can reproduce it. I'm sure it's not random, but I can't pinpoint a trigger for it.

don't worry this is a visual bug, even if the numbers show and are white if you click on it the portrait for it will show that the numbers you are getting are green so you are good, tested this myself twice

Hale, please elaborate. When I hover my cursor over the deposit, on Irass, it says that I need to build a mining station to harvest the 48 additional credits created by the Dyson Swarm.
If you click on the deposit, the available reasource will always show up as green, whether or not you are actually harvesting it.

i had this bug several times for systems that are generated later on in the game (pre-cursers etc) i simply selected the dyson swarm and dismantled it and build it on a different system. devs will need to look this through.

This is not necessarily true. I am currently doing a multiplayer game and I got the special event that puts alloys on a star. It was the one I had a dyson swarm on so I thought I got something amazing. It was working too... until I upgraded it. Now it shows as green but I can 100% confirm I am getting neither the energy credits nor the alloys. Wondered why I dipped from positive energy and killer alloys to getting wrecked.

This is definitely not fixed.

not sure if it's related, but i have had very similar problems with deposits when there is an event or anomaly in the system

i even think there was at least once it was a dig site, the resource was white even though i had done a system wide "build mining stations" and "build research stations" the individual deposit still said "you need to build a mining station" but i couldn't build one.
i am about 80% certain on some occasions that finishing the event / anomaly DID at least fix it so it turned green. but i do not actually know for certain it was added to the income.

It’s a visual bug.
I had an astral thread from a dyson sphere, at the formless’ system.
It is white, but actually harvesting it.
There were no other astral thread sources as the formless is locked at that system and can’t expand.
