So how is the Grand Archive DLC and free update?
Is it a fun one and any huge changes?

I mean for someone who has not played since Machine Age (what i liked a lot :rm_heart: ), so not played any playthrough with Grand Archive, or Cosmic Storms yet, that i did hear can be annoying?

So what is the general feels and your review on Grand Archive?

Prolly better wait the usual 3-4 weeks? And try after they get over with the weekly bug fixes so then all mods updated and working again, since if i start huge galaxy size game it always lasts couple weeks worth of gaming sessions and for sure not done in one week before some update that can break save and/or just has to disable mods again etc.

The collecting of fauna and making the fleets with enhanced abilities sounds really cool. I assume cannot breed Leviathans? Would be too OP probably..

Are the fauna ships/fleets actually viable against the classic "meta fleet comps" by the way? Any cool new gimmicks with those? :War: I do love occasional cheesy ship builds.. :D

Its fun imo. I really like the artifacts and stuff that you can gather/use

Some of the fauna ships are a bit to expensive to use imo, but they are good and viable, currently working on a beastmaster achievement play-trough

Its Paradox's version of fun which means a screenful of 1% amounts number crunching. The idea behind the archive is good but it comes down to very minor benefits and joke descriptions. The benefit and lore is so click and forget that I keep asking myself is there some sort of secret I'm missing. I get epic or legendary items that are like +5 engineering per turn where "common" is +2..wahoo :( When they are all activated the whole thing continues less than a single developed planet
