Under One Rule Question
So playing Under One Rule, wanting to do full Immortal God Emperor route. But the egalitarians are pitching a fit.

My options are to either go after them in a civil war. Return to Status Quo and give the Terran People better living standards. Or just straight up concede.

Must I civil war in order to get the event that lets my character become an Immortal God? Id prefer to avoid it

The civil war option does nothing if you can get all the "Democratic tendencies" off your planets before hand. As long as your leader lives they will stay in power and can become the immortal god emperor.

I didnt get the modifier off my planets. Looks to be a nasty civil war. But I think I can win.

But if I choose to go back to status quo... so some concessions, they will stay in power?

I don't know, I play under one rule a lot but I've never seen the luminary leave power unless they died. I'm pretty sure all the concessions do is change their rights and give them a tiny amount of political power. The rights you can just change back after a while and the political power can increase happiness and unity if it's on the correct pops.
