Stellaris
1100 hours in this game. Only play human factions.
Any human mains here? Despite owning all the DLCs, I find zero interest in any faction that isn't humanity. I realize I'm missing out on a huge aspect of the game but I simply couldn't care less about robots or alien swarms. They're just all NPCs to me.

Never heard of factions beyond the entire democratic system of president stuff for civics and what not, do you mean the humanoid species?
based human supremacy player
I don't trust xeno scum. A human galaxy is a safe and just galaxy.
As much as I mostly play Humans or Machines, two aspects I have never gotten far with are Aquatics and Fungoids/Paltoids. It's not that I don't understand how they play, I just keep find new and interesting ways to domin...er...colonize the galaxy with Humans and Machines.

I learned that some species have odd unique things about them, Plantoids for example have a trait that allows them to negate a majority of food production in place of more energy
I have made a game where humans were livestock, primitives, or under a assimilation species both machine and necroid. I'd throw another human empire or two in it, such as a fanatical human purifier with a clone origin. I'd then start as some minor human empire with the goal to unite all the empires that had humans before they were assimilated and to free them if they were enslaved by aliens. Not a bad game, usually some branches of humanity would become food before I could rescue them.
I'll play anything. I do feel a sort of "ick factor" with synthetics: too unnatural.
I also only play humans.

Well, I made some Dwarf looking guys once and made a MegaCorp that I called Deep Rock Galactic. That was fun.

But yea. I relate more to humans, which is weird because I'm personally half dog.
All of my empires are humans with different origins and civics. I actually usually give xenos residence and equal rights or stratified economy. Slavery is too much micromanagement.

"humans" are just a portrait and a name, you can play almost any sort of empire (other then the machine empires and a few other things locked behind species categories) with any DLC addition while still playing "humans".

Unless you are only playing pre-made empires rather then custom empires, if so then yea you are missing out.
