I want to make a solarpunk humanity
I want to make a Solarpunk-based human civilization for playing Stellaris. I've taken a couple of stabs at it but I was curious what you all would build:

The best one I came up with was:

Humans (standard human template used by the CM and UNE), continental pref Sol-system of some stripe.
Fanatic democratic and pacifist
Shared Burdens and Agrarian Idyll
Fear the Dark (just because Prosperous Unification seemed kinda boring)

Anyone got any better builds?

Add Environmentalist later on, or if you have the dlc take Genesis Guides civic. I did a similar game once, but took Syncretic Evolution making a simian secondary species that i eventually modified the servile trait out of. Also, fun fact, if you select CoM or UNE and edit them to whatever you want, it guarantees that the other will spawn in your game. So if you edit UNE, you will find the CoM in your game, and they will still call you the UNE in their greeting.

Environmentalist was definitely a third-civic pick.

Generally I wanted it to be an initial pick but I felt that Shared Burdens was there to show that the society had come closer to proper suffrage and agrarian idyll just seemed to fill that aesthetic goal of something that was closer to using tech to create more sustainable living and working environs without damaging the environment and pushes the play away from big built up urb-planets

(I don't really care about playing optimally, I treat this as a space opera sim where strategy provides the challenge to see if the society would work.)

Not sure about genesis guides. Obviously a solarpunk society would care, I just don't think I'd call it a core choice. Though it does look interesting for other ideas.

Humans in Sol
Normal Egalitarian, Materialist and Pacifist
Gaia or Ocean Paradise (head canon it as Humanity rebuilding Earth after a horrific third world war and/or massive flooding turning Earth into a giant ocean with Islands)
Agrarian Idyll and Environmentalists then Catalytic Processing later on
Take whatever species traits you want, I'd go for Biological Ascension
Keep rerolling until you get Venus with Toxic Terraforming
Then use scientists to survey ONLY planets and hope you get the Baol Precursor for Gaia worlds and special tree building that gives Consumer Goods from farming
Then try to get Helito and Dimensional Portal for two extra worlds in the Sol system
Utopian Abundance once you've sorted out your economy
Solar Utopia.
