I am a bit confused, play as machine empire , want to pick one of those new traditions, but it says that i need to finish transformation incident , what the heck is this?

You need to start as a machine empire, then pick the Synthetic Age ascension perk. After that, you'll get the choice between those 3 :)

When you pick the synthetic age perk to start the ascension you start a "situation". You need to finish that situation.

I am playing co-op with a friend and i have the transformation event but it has been paused permenantly and suddenly progressed 208 after a desync rehost and then never progressed again i am super confused
