Synthetic fertility is a bit underwhelming...
Don't know what you guys think but the resolution of this origin is quite fast (37 years), hopefully something will happen later on...

The problem isn't that it's fast, it's more that it's worse than any of the synth ascension paths. No nanites, virtual pops don't autospawn, and IDK what augments are supposed to do, but there are no additional traits for synth after its conclusion. WHY?!?!

I mean, if I'm supposed to be happy to have it without wasting an ascension slot, than I'd much rather waste one than have this...

Yeah. Just not in SF. I've had 2 playthroughs with it, and Virtual pops DO NOT auto spown if gained through SF. It's either a bug, or the origin is intentionally awful.

They also do not despown, there's no planet number penalty and no "shut down the servers" button in planetary decisions.

I thought one of the main reasons are the identity buildings that produce a lot of research and scale off each other (the more you have, the more each provides research)
Also, the skin of my specie didn’t change to a more robotic one, It straight up changed for the classic robot one

Thing is thoug, you can't load more on board after you transcend your mortal flesh. Would be really cool if we could endlessly load organics on board.
It's complete trash, your already old leaders get a new body but their lifespan isn't reset, Couple that with no traits and your leaders are dead 30 years in guaranteed. It isn't just underwhelming, it's borderline unplayable.

You're confusing the virtualization from the bio to synth ascension (which gives a +25% boost to habitability, a -90% reduction to housing usage and immortal leaders) and that just requires to choose the correct government type after the ascension, vs the virtualization from when an already machine empire takes the virtualization ascension (which auto-spawns pops) by completing the virtualization tradition tree. They both are very different :)

That only works if you chose one of the species portrait in the "synthetic" category when you created your empire. They didn't make custom synth portrait for every portrait, just for the ones in that category :)

You get to ascend in that short a time, can get immortal leaders, and get 2 special buildings with huge benefits: the +33% output from jobs on your capital, 66 of each research and unity trade for the first one, and +2 mech pop assembly for your entire empire from the second. They are both very strong in my opinion :) .

THe wiki doesn't show any difference on Virtuality for bio or gestalt ascensions.
The first part you mentioned is the initial trait from starting the virtuality tradition, the last is what you get from finishing it.

The virtuality tradition tree (that lets you auto-spawn) is only available to machine empire (you don't need to be gestalt anymore btw), as it requires the "Synthetic Age" ascension perk, not to bio who ascend to synth by using the "Synthetic Evolution" ascension perk (or the synthetic fertility origin). 2 different perks for 2 different types of empires and 2 different results for going virtual :)

You should raise a bug ticket on the paradox forum, for what it's worth, the one I selected worked correctly, maybe there is a bug with that specific one then, I'm sure they'll be interested to know which one :)

Ah, I get it now.
This take is crazy to me.

Synthetic Fertility is absolutely the strongest origin in the game right now.

The pop growth bonus from the building makes your pops scale at a rate that is unmatched even in grand admiral by boosted ai. I had 1500 pops in my empire by 2300.

Virtual decision allows for immortal leaders with no cost.

Crazy amounts of mod points to supercharge your population. Which is only one race due to assimilation.

I have not played a single game with this origin that has not been a total steamroll of the game. The start is difficult, but if you take Genesis arks and just uplift pre sapients and assimilate them. Your empire will be unmatched by any other origin in the game.

Nah it is relatively strong. Try doing that thing with a trade empire / megacorp, unity rush with Marketplace of Ideas

I don't know, my Holographic Individualist machine, Syncretic Evolution, Mega Death Church - I was done both research & ascending in ridiculous fashion.

Even had latent psychic on my sacrificial race from the psychic Paragon. Also got Cybrex as a precursor So that and a stolen Ocean Paradise were most of my nation.
