rip robots
just read the new changes comming to robots and it seems everything that made them unique is gone. immortality is gone. 200% habitability gone. they are basically lithoids now but consume energy instead of minerals. for a dlc around robots they really hurt robots play style

I would not be surprised if in the near future they announce DLC with energy beings that will be immortal and 100% adaptable to any type of worlds instead of robots.

The habitability thing i didn't liked either, it's truly the only reason machines are able to outpace everyone else, they are truly lithoids now.

''Oh but they have been made to witstand their own planet, not hostile plantes'', that would be cool with they added new planets and machines only had 50% habitability with these new planets and be normal in the ''normal'' ones we currently have, that's what i can think about.
i love machines and the robot breaking down problem wasn't their at all i think they would break down about 4 times in the whole game

They said that you can get close to the same habitability with some civic and trait picks.

We'll see how it actually plays out in practice.

Not perfect, but the Subterranean origin that is now available for machines too, gives extra +50 minimum habitability, making everything have 100 min habitability.
Do wonder what penalties it'll give for machines though, instead of the -20% bio pop growth speed among other things.
