I know he tring to troll so I answer stupid ^^
why add pacift build for most agresive ascendency path ? :F also 2040 year and my capital is empty, there is no way to win with this orgin
While the loss of citizens has been detrimental. The increased research output from the repository has helped alot. Also. Many of the basic workers have been replaced with robots. Though I am still in deficit on EC. Saving unity to spam out Synthetics once I'm done researching Artificial Administration.
will update...
I have finished the origin. At least from what I can see. The population is fully ascended. I have 22 pops all synthetic on around 5 worlds. I allowed the remaining pops to remain in Nirvana as the Identity Repository is OP.
Conclusion: The Origin is a time crunch and requires you to focus on the looming disaster. I'm not sure if its exactly a good pick for higher difficulties as early on you do start at a disadvantage. But I can see several huge advantages(like effectively starting the game with an entire ascension finished). I had a few issues. One of which was a subterranean country that took over one of my planets. But I doubt that was origin-specific. There was a bit of micromanaging to keep everything in the green but it wasnt that bad.
Honestly OP, I hate to say it but I'm definitely going with skill issue here. Or at least a perception issue. Your first three engineering techs should be the Robotic-Droid-Artificial Admin techs and then you should drop all your unity on the Synthetic evolution path. And it should realistically be done by 2230. Any later and I dont see the playthrough being viable on harder difficulties(could be wrong here)
I played a game where I had an AI neighbor (Admiral difficulty, delayed AI economy boosts so no super econ there) take this origin, as fanatic purifiers. They tech boosted me nicely when they decided to catch these hands pretty much on sight, within the first 30 years of the game or so. So it's definitely doable, just not my personal interest of it all.
So yeah, you just needed to rush robot specialists tech before you lost too many of your people. After you complete the main story line you get ridiculously good bonuses as a reward.
Of course, this origin is not for a high-performance builds, but it's not as punishing as many other challenge origins / civics.
