ascencion perks not unlocking after finishing cybernetic tradition as cybernetic creed origin

so I rushed cybernetic tradition but for some reason perk slot is not unlocking....is this a bug ?

No, If you look at the description of that tradition, it says that it'll unlock the perk after the cyberization situation is finished :) . Before that, that tree gives a bonus to the situation speed instead :) .

Yes it was changed with the 3.12 update and the Machine Age dlc, now ascending to cyborgs or synths comes with a situation, events, and choices that can change a few things afterwards :)

thanks for answering....yea I thought game bugged out and restarted great playthrough I had :(

If you were that attached to that playthrough, you can load manually the previous save, it separates individual playthroughs by specific sandbox.

"This empire" 1 and "This empire" 2, for instance. Just make sure your mods match the save.

(And clear old save logs every now and then, it frees a decent chunk of space if you play a lot.)

I always delete my saves when I rage quit :D
