Too much unemployment, how do I resolve this?
I currently have 18 unemployment pops on my planet. My planet is already full and I don't know how to maintain employment. Are there certain jobs that can just be filled?

If you can't build more districts, more buildings and/or upgrade existing buildings. Then there's nothing you can employ them on.

If you don't have any districts available anymore, and filled all building slots with fully upgraded buildings, then the only thing you can do is to resettle pops away from the planet.

If you're running city districts, or have housing buildings, you can also replace those with other districts/buildings to add more jobs. A lack of housing generally isn't a big problem, but a lack of jobs can be.

What I do is I make a single planet go martial law, with enough soldier jobs so that stability will never be a problem. Add the crime lords deal so that 100% crime won't give negative events...

Now I have a planet that can hold an unlimited amount of unemployed pops



Then pick the utopian abundance living standard (have to be egalitarian for that) so that unemployed pops each generate a bit of research...

Now I have a planet with unlimited research potential

Social welfare is also an option here. Your unemployed pops will be happy and produce some unity. Of course, eventually you will have the same problem with housing. You'll need to stop growth or move pops around.

This mod adds quick building of additional jobs for the districts you've already built, through the use of the tile blocker menu. It's in beta, but it's been working ok for me in v2.6.2.

A more authoritarian stateform deals with this nicely.
It may be worthwhile to resettle them.
You can opt to clip certain body parts.
Or make them into life stock.
