That requires you to survey new habitable planets. ie. 8 new ones that you haven't already surveyed.
That's the one Kapika96, that's the one! But this is the thing I don't get - how does that work then? How do I know a planet is habitable until I survey it? And then once it's surveyed it won't let me do it..!!! I know I am being a total dumba@@, which I am totally fine with, I just wish I knew what I was being a dumba@@ about....!!!
Ah, now we're talking..! That is what I couldn't get my head around, how the hell would I know? Another quickie though (oooooh missus...!) if you don't mind....? What is the best kind of way to approach it - let a RS go in first, slowly, keeping an eye on it -or is really obvious when one comes up. Obviously I have seen habitable planets before, but only as the RS is doing it's thing - surveying I mean......
And is it right - there really is nothing on a mining ship that gives you any mining stats at all - that seems such an oversight I almost think they did it purposely..! Is it anywhere?
Thanks in advance, your help is very much appreciated....
Upgrading your sensor tech will reveal habitable worlds in neighbouring systems too.
Mining station base output should be shown below the body they are orbiting.
It is possible that this mission only starts when there is nothing left to explore, then you simply can't complete it.
Once again - many thanks for your help, always appreciated - no doubt I will be soon back. To be honest, Stellaris does a MUCH MUCH better job of easing in a noob, especially when you compare it to something like EU4.....
Cheers......
EDIT - I DID IT, I DID IT....very satisfying indeed....
