Before the patch:
1x click on research
After the patch:
1x don't miss the notification
1x click the notification
1x click on research
1x right-click to dismiss notification (so you don't triple-check them)
Biggest issue is that the audio sample does not play most of the time, because there usually are other simultaneous notifications, and the anomaly seems to have the lowest priority. Like if the anomaly is found on the last planet in a system, you only hear "system survey complete" but never "anomaly found".
At the very least, the unsurveyed anomalies need a distinct notification icon, and an audio cue you can't miss.
You don't need to click "go to" or assign the ship manually. Clicking the notification is identical to the old pop-up. It also queues several anomalies found by the same scientist, in case you missed the first ones. It won't block the "research" button though.
Ah, I guess that saves a few clicks. Still a very stupid change. Thanks though.
Good, I'm glad they are at least aware that it was a mistake. Looking forward to it being reverted. Thanks for informing me.
Notification pop ups are turned on in the options?
