Robot pops not assembling

So anyone else got this problem? I know it was a bugg before.
It doesnt matter if i play vanilla or modded, they still wont assemble.

Is their growth meter not increasing?
Do you have working roboticists?

Yes I got roboticists, the "Assembling" picture is grey without a portrait inside it. "There are no species that can be assembled on this planet"

I even tried starting with the mechanist origin, I got 8 robots in my empire but I still cant assemble more.

are the robots the first ones ? you need to upgrade them to the next tier, before that, they can only use worker jobs

@Kaneda they excisting robots can work as they should. But I cant assemble (grow) more.

What does your checksum say with all mods disabled?

@Elitewrecker PT you might be on to something. Even when playing vanilla its says achivement not eligble then somthing about checksum.

edit: checksum is modified

That means either there are mod files active even with all disabled, or the base files themselves are corrupted.
Start by verifying the steam installation - right-click stellaris - game properties - files - verify integrity.

And yes, another necro, cause I have the very same problem now? Is it a know bug? Any fixes? Can it be caused by mods?
Anyone knows anything?

I have the tech, I have robots allowed, I have built the building for it, they have workers on them, the population screen says something like 2,2 or 2,4 but there never appear any robots. Mouseover says "There are no species that can be assembled on this planet"

Edit: Might have been a mod? I deactivated the older ones but it didn't do anything yesterday. Now I just started the game and suddenly the workers started assembling ...
Maybe the game needed to update stuff at my PC's restart or something.

Going to kick the dead horse aswell. I dont use any mods, I have all the DLC-s. I play as a fanatic purifier so at one point every species were undesirable, even got rid of a mechanical population (most of it at least). other than that I didnt have any mechanical pop. Once i tried to build some bots the assembly speed is 4.6, but the picture is greyd out (yes, I have workers assigned to the robot factory). I managed to buy a mechanical pop from the slave market, and after that another totally new/different mech species showed up (1), but the factory still doesnt build bots. Any ieas? (AI is servitude, robotic workers allowed)
