Performance on the Deck probably isn't the best it could be but that has to do with the handheld having lower specs than your average desktop.
You're also going to need a custom community control layout as stellaris is not designed for controllers.
That said if you were to dock your deck and play in desktop mode it should run fine. Just make sure that your steam deck is up to date.
But the reason i ask this question.
Does Stellaris has with the new update problems?
Like i mentioned above, people report, it´s not running well, crashing alot and Icons, Ship, Backgrounds, Profilpictures and more are missing on steamdeck.
That´s why i ask.
you my find periods of 2 weeks to 2 years where the game wont launch
they will admit the problem
they will not fix it if someone out in the wild lies about a work around
