Haven't seen the new UI yet, but yeah I was wearing out my scroll wheel late game as well.
I would have had civilian ships on the planet tab, and move the outliner as far up on the screen as possible, and given a hot key like "tab" when not selecting anything, swap between the outliner tabs.
But It DOES increase the clicking for the majority of the early game.
I Definitely see It being useful for late game.
I wish there was a toggle So I could keep it the old way until the scrolling becomes too obnoxious.
At the moment It does feel...whats the word... Jarring? Not the perfect word, but It does feel awkward, like it doesnt flow properly.... I need to give it more time though, It could just be me overreacting to change lol.
Literally nonstop
But i would love it, if i could place the tabs next to each other. Like having one, two, three or all four lists nexte to each other, so i dont have to scroll that much in exchange for a little less space for my star map.
I really hope they add a way to toggle between the two views so that we can use the old way early game then the new planner once things get cluttered in mid-late game.
