Void Dwellers and Voidborne ascension
After all the changes to the habitats and void dweller origin is there any reason to grab voidborne or is it a waste? It says that you get advance housing and extra research towards habitats, but dont you get it anyway as void dwellers? or am I wrong on that one?

The size and therefore the worth of a habitat varies. It gets better with additional habitat-related technologies. The Void Dweller origin only gives you the basic tech to build a small facility that by itself is hardly even worth the resources and time to construct it. Only with the expansion technologies, they become a real asset especially for tall empires.

Void dweller origin already has voidborne bonuses baked in, they can't take it for an ascension. As any other origin, I find it lackluster. Hard to fit it in between tech ascend, intergalactic dominion, ascension path, galactic wonders, etc. Too many better ones to choose.

Both of them actually very weak ascension perks.
Technological Ascendancy dwarfed by power Transcendent Learning as first pick and barely worth it later.
Interstellar Dominion is somewhat okay pick for early rush - but why wasting a slot on it, while in lategame you could pick Colossus instead?

Interstellar dom stacks with the other claim reductions making them so cheap it's almost like total war. Yes an early pick. Tech ascend gives a large weight bonus to many good techs, and the 10% research is also good early. These are almost always first 2 picks. I suppose the learning one is good now but I don't have paragons dlc so not so good for me.
