Humans keep Spawning in my Human Game

Hello everyone. Im having a really odd problem and i wonder if anyone can help me

I want to play an Ironman game as the standard human race the game gives you. The United Nations of man. every time i get about half into the game and i find the game has spawn ANOTHER HUMAN EMPIRE in the game

i dont the commonwealth of man, (which yes both spawn in the same game) or even another united nations of earth.. ..on top of them, without fail, the game willi spwan another 3rd human race, with a random government like megacrop or military junta.

Im finding this is killing my immersion. like I have all the species pack besides toxoids, so i dont understand why its spawning a 3rd human empire in every game i try to play, given all the other options i have for speices. and at the end of the day im playing stellaris to beef with aliens, not other humans (I have EU4 for that)

is there any fix out there for this? i appreciate getting it fixed for iron man might be a bit much but ill take any sort of fix at this point lol

Also... when i try and fill the game with ai empires to prevent this happening.. something else weird happens. i tried playing a game with 30 empires, and i told the game it had to load in 30 specific empires i chose... but it only loaded in half of them? and made sure to load in a random not requested human empire. whats going on here? That never use to happen. Im not playing with any mods at all, why can't i load in a game with all the empires of my choosing? and why does it ALWAYS load in a random human empire?

Your perception of immersion is the easiest route to fix.

Also check if you have mods, they have tendency of reinstalling if you don't unsubscribe from all creators manually on steam reinstall.

this half worked. Still cant choose every empire for a game.... but the humans have stopped spawning. and that was my primary concern. i had no mods running but some old mods i had installed must have been causing issues. thank u so much :)

Ah a corrupted mod file, I know if software try to interact with files and a critical system gets interrupted in the wrong way can mess up a file. For most part most files seem to work right, but then again perhaps how the operating system actually works is it uses a sort of compressed generated algorithm to check if values are different. To compensate for errors. And the statistical probability is how good the algorithms are.

I've heard of this issue before so your not the first !
