The funniest thing just happened in my game
So I doing a new run playing humans
Found this pre-civ,
I watched them grow for a whole century doing non interference.
They had all kind of struggles and still made it somewhat peacefully to the pre-atomic stage

Then a class 4 asteroids comes and because I not interfered at all I decided not to interfere with nature as they were unaware of me.
Now just before the asteroid is about to make impact I get an event about scientists being careless
Contact was inevitable and it was made.

"Hi friends!"

"So what's next?"

I kinda feel sad for them now while I can't help myself laughing out loud too.
While this just happened I typing this with the game paused with the asteroid milimeters away from impact their planet on my screen.

Ancient Aliens.... ;-)
Little emergent stories like this are one of the nice things about Stellaris.

This reminds me of the pre-FTLs that managed to reach the space age in my current game.

Except for them the asteroid was my default species rights.

As I usually play a Borg type empire, I wait till the pre-FTLs get to the atomic age then they become one with the many.....

Another update:

The civilization became slaves to an organic machine singularity and got boosted into an early bronze age,
I had to read it like 3x myself to believe my eyes lol
I don't know what is going on here!:steamhappy:

If only you used an Agressive Observation - you will get an event to stop them before it's too late (guess event could fail too but never saw it myself yet).
