hive mind counsil
how can I add leader in hive mind to counsil ? I click and nothing happen

You cannot. Hive minds do not have a traditional council, they have hive nodes that you start the game with (and as far as i know you can't add a node).

Sounds like a mod is messing with your game if you can click a button to add a leader to your hive mind council. It should have all slots filled by default, and if a node is killed or removed in some way, the slot should auto generate a new node for you.

Play regular empires if you like having specialized government. You also get customizable ethic points.

You get ability to remove negative traits and in early game will launch agenda faster.

Hive minds bonus is straights forward, you get to use minerals instead of consumer goods (regular empire) or energy (machine empire), for research.
Your pops are not effected by happiness, you get large growth bonus and sprawl reduction as stated on authority type. Your pops growing do not use resource to grow and can be accelerated in growth for relatively inexpensive.

Basically the build might only seem underwhelming because its boring and not because it actually is. Its like playing flavor bland coffee XL. Not surprising, ant colonies and bee hives have specializations in them, but are not as sophisticated as non hives. Your playing a hive so... yeah.

I know how to play hive, I just said thier council bonuses is SO BAD compered to normal empire like having +30% nav capacity or -50% cost for fleet =D

I guess their really trying to push regular empires then, not surprising much dlc's they have released recently have civics and like of content for regular empires. They want players to play regular empires to buy the content related to those empires.

Those juicy bonuses will cost you to spend decades managing your CG and happiness. I think it's a fine balance-wise. You're Hive - you're dedicated for early game rush and nothing more.

hive in this patch got nerfed to the ground, I have already lvl 6 nodes and didn't get single good military perk

rly +1 and +2 stability is useless

with normal empire I get masterfull crafters that give me more CG than enough and my slaves don't need any hapiness

nope, hive is bad now

nope, hive is bad now
It started to get worse for hives after 3.2, but to be honest their minerals to research and only alloys needed industrial is strong aspect of them. Machine empires also have this but with minerals swapped with energy and few differences. All in all this is a gestalt thing your experiencing.

well too be honest CG never was problem to me for research and hive don't have access to most OP thing ever made in stellaris called ecumenopolis that can be rly fast rushed, you get it earier than hive worlds and ecumenopolis is much better than hive worlds, that the main reason I don't like to play hive any more, hive also don't have trade that rly boost energy credit even for empire that don't specialise in trade

my f.xenophobe/materialist still can reach +500 credits from trade

hive also can't create vassals from thier own, they can only counquer vassals

in end game its good to have vassals that you create from your own peeps cause they always loyal and its best way to break fleet limit in end game cause they will send fleet to help you cause they are always loyal

and now normal empire can get also fleet organiser or what ever it called on 2 counsil slots from oligarchic government that can reach +30% fleet limit or even more and easy -% cost for ships

I would say hive is in rly bad spot now, machines have it a litte better cause they can create ecumenopolis if you play rogue servitor

To be clear, you went from not knowing how the Hive Council works to knowing that hive is bad in... a bit under an hour?

I mean the hive council does suck, no legendary abilities and you cannot stack it, hell the exp bonuses aren't even working properly( I sent in a bug report).

Regular council can early game stack science bonuses then late game stack fleet bonuses and gestalt level up so slowly.
