Immortal Luminary Emperor died of old age ?

So today my Chosen One (from the shroud) emperor luminary (new origin leader) died of old age (thats what the notification said) ?
Im kind of confused how this is possible, maybe a hidden interaction ? or just plain bug ?

Same happen to me, venerable necroid chosen one leader, died of old age.

Mine died too there should be a event and a situations should pop for you to save them but for me it did not work a second event pop up that said a special project was found to save them but i could not find it and in the end they died.

Are y'all running into this issue on a new save, in a game started after yesterday's release? Or are these games on old saves?

Yet they removed it as disrespectful, just for calling developers incompetent when they release a garbage fire like this DLC. Even the core game changes are atrocious.

Common washout dev tactic, remove all criticism and pretend everything is fine and everyone loves it.

I think the OP atleast was, and I think they may be seeing the DLC event where your leader can die if you play that origin. I've only done it once so don't know all the paths it can take, but one clearly kills your leader.

I was 160 years into the game and finished the origin story line a long time ago, leader just died out of nowhere from age (atleast thats what the notification said)

On my first game, the leader died before the first event could strike, with the +40 lifespan modifier, and venerable. Around 2204? Then the next dictator was treated by the storyline as being the one that initiated everything.

This DLC is some of the most poorly-made content I've seen, and I'm a frequent early access sewer diver.
