Fear of The Dark [SPOILERS]

I've been playing with it for a while and does anything actually happen apart from the occasional repeating popups? Like do you eventually merge with them or something?

There is an achievement that suggests you could eventually embrace the fear. I've not played that origin yet, so I'm not fully aware of it's story elements.

Seems as though nothing actually happens, and you just get notification spam throughout the whole game.

Things do eventually move past the constant annoyance that is your brother planet. The year is 2377

The "main" event chain doesn't happen until the mid-game finding the system of the "hunters" responsible for the Divider incident, and then having the option to "give in to fear" turning your empire into a fanatic purifier and unifying with the separatists

A couple of things, One, if a crisis happens you may receive control of the haven defense fleet. Two, Make sure that Haven is actually a planet you want to possess before going fp. Mine has 200 pops and would be a pain in the ass to manage.

How do you stop the hunters from destroying you? I researched two different ways to stop them, and they still blew up my planet? What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of time that ended up being.

Just do the four of them, it's not like it use ressources, it just take some time from your ships

so mid game came around and I decided to select the second option which is to not become a fanatic purifer and instead treat them with kindness, trouble is im also a pacifist so I cant enlighten them and now I just gotta wait... I wonder if enlightening them will trigger the rest of the event? or maybe its over already...
