Can "Commune with the Ineffable" result in a communication with "End of the Cycle"?

I'm not sure that it does, I just seem to be getting the same two over and over again.

Is there some way to increase the odds of getting a covenant offer? I just keep getting the same "Choose one of 1-3 bonuses" option over and over again.

If you don't have a covenant, on each shroud visit you can use the purple option "reach for a higher presence" (or something)

This normally leads to the choices for the 4 regular covenants.

I know, but I want the End of the Cycle. Hence why this thread is about that specific entity.

I did, but since it also says this:
"When attempting to enter the shroud the empire will be given the option to pay 2000 Energy and 500 Zro. The patron can be chosen, except for End of the Cycle."

And this:
"The option to form a Covenant may randomly appear as part of Shroud visions. The patron is chosen based on its preferences."

I assumed it was referring to the latter option, since the former explicitly excludes End of the Cycle. Am I wrong?

You are right about noting that, but reply#1 still stands.

The chance should be 2% if the covenant is being offered - probably only on the first visit.


You then posted that you only got the actual Shroud interactions, which means you either have a covenant already or haven't figured out how to contact the covenants.

I do not have a covenant, and I know how to get the option to contact the entities directly. However, since the wiki literally says that End of the Cycle is not an option when contacting the entities directly, I have been using the other option, the one that just says "Reach into the Shroud", hoping for a random Covenant offer from that option.
