this is pay to play kind of game every couple of months more or less $20 DLC , and it is akways something mods could do for free.

This has next to no graphics just check a youtube video of stellaris.
Read and read cards....

not really any of that. there is some grind especially later game with mega structures and tech progressively takes more. all these things have settings to make things to your liking whether that's faster or longer as well upping your own output. where as you can go a pretty passive playthrough there is generally lots of wars. you need either better tech or more ships + modifiers(like DE's have increased rof etc.) to be effective.

eve would be hard to compare on many levels i guess both their settings are in space.

Try watching some YouTube Let's Play footage, of various people playing Stellaris, preferably fairly recent versions. At least avoid footage from before v2.2 came out (December 2018).

That'll go some way towards giving you an impression of what playing Sellaris is like. But be sure to watch LP footage, not tutorial videos.

You're comparing a real time empire management to an MMORPG

this game is an 4x RTS game, no grind really tbh.

No pay-to-win too as in multiplayer games - everyone will get access to all DLC that host buyed.

I think you have a mistaken impression of what this game is.

This is a real-time 4x game.

Not entirely true, you can't use DLC origins or civics.

It's more freemium than pay2win, that being said the game is still enjoyable with a very small amount of DLC.

Yes. I'm have all DLC but never actually used content from several of them. So buying things you like is a perfectly viable strategy.

Pretty sure you can, except maybe the ones from species packs.

If you have to ask that question, you are probably insufficiently educated on the product you're considering buying. The similarities between Stellaris and Eve begin and end with "space." They're not similar games in the slightest.

If you are an alliance leader in EVE it is close to Stellaris :p

This is mostly build around singleplayer or small multiplayer sessions. It's not really meant to be a competitive game due to the asymetrical gameplay, which rather tries to get unique and interesting playthroughs through RNG stuff. I'm not even sure, if there's even a competitive scene at all.

Though as others said, having DLCs grants you access to specific traits and origins, but it's only about species generation (they just have more to pick from, but still need to balance things out, so they don't just get a better empire out of nothing) and once in the game, everyone has access to the same buildings, ships and tools added by the DLCs of the host, so you won't just meet a fleet, which has better stuff on it, but you can build your things the exact same way.

If you want wars, expand aggressively, right up to other factions borders. You will get your wars.
If you just turtle, well you can enjoy grinding as well. Sometime being able to grind and build up is nice before the fireworks show.
